2 Introduction

The straightener was designed to protect your fragile ends.

The innovative SplitStop technology is a combination of a

UniTemp sensor and smooth ceramic plates, leading to split

end prevention. This gives advanced protection to your hair

and therefore keeps your hair protected and shinier. We’ve

already turned the sensor on, so you can enjoy maximum

protection right from the start.

3 Preparation for use

• Wash hair with shampoo and conditioner and blow dry it.

• Use heat protection product and comb your hair with

large-toothed comb.

• Use the straightener only when your hair is dry.

• Frequent users are recommended to use heat protection

products when straightening.

• Ensure that you select a temperature setting that is

suitable for your hair. Please refer to the Hair Type table

below. Always select a lower setting when you use the

straightener for the rst time.

Hair Type Temperature Setting

Thick 200 °C to 230 °C

Normal 170 °C to 190 °C

Fine 130 °C to 160 °C

4 Straighten your hair ( Fig.2 )

1 Connect the plug to a power supply socket.

2 Slide the closing lock ( h ) downwards to unlock the

appliance.

3 Press and hold the button ( f ) until the display screen

lights up.

» The default temperature setting 160°C (

d ) is

displayed.

4 Press the or button ( e ) to select your desired

temperature setting.

» When the appliance is heating up, the temperature

digits will blink. The digits stop blinking when the

heating plates have reached the selected temperature.

» The appliance will heat up in 30 seconds.

5 The ion function ( b ) is activated when the appliance is

switched on, which provides additional shine and reduces

frizz.

» You may smell a special odor and hear a sizzling noise.

It is common because they are caused by the ion

generator.

6 Comb your hair and then start by clipping your blow dried

hair into sections not wider than 5cm.

Note: For thicker hair, it is suggested to create more sections.

7 Place one section of hair in between the heating

plates (

a ) and press the handles rmly together.

8 Slide the straightener down the length of the hair in a

single motion (max. 5 sec) from root to end, without

stopping to prevent overheating.

9 To straighten the rest of your hair, repeat steps 6 to 8 until

you achieve the desired look.

10 To nish your hair styling, mist with a shine spray or

exible hold hair spray.

Tip: Do not brush your hair after straightening your hair.

5 Curl your hair ( Fig.3 )

To create inward/outward curls:

1 Take a hair strand and clip up the rest of hair.

2 Start near the hair roots. Place the strand of hair between

the heating plates (

a ).

3 ( Fig.3-A ) Turn the straightener inwards toward your face

and make a 360-degree turn.

( Fig.3-B ) To create outward curls, turn the straightener

away from your face and make a 360-degree turn.

Notes:

• Do not touch the surface above or below the heating

plates as they are hot. If necessary, use cool tip only.

• The beginning section of your hair should be completely

wrapped around the straightener before sliding the hair

down.

4 Your hair strand is fully wrapped around both sides of the

straightener. Make sure the hair tip is sticking out.

5 Pull the straightener downwards along the hair slowly.

Ensure the strand of hair is not slipping o the plates.

Tips:

• You may use the cool tip ( c ) to assist in the 360-degree

turn.

• Hold the straightener horizontally ( parallel to the oor )

so that the hair won’t fall out.

• You may use the cool tip to x your hair strand in place.

• Gently relax the grip on the handle as you rotate so that

you can easily turn the straightener.

After use:

1 Switch o the appliance and unplug it.

2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.

3 Clean the appliance and heating plates by damp cloth.

4 Close the heating plates ( a ) and slide the closing

lock (

h ) to lock the appliance.

5 Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You can also

hang it with the hanging loop (

g ).

Note: The appliance has auto shut-o function. It switches

o automatically after 30 minutes without clamping.

6 Guarantee and service

2 Introdução

O alisador foi concebido para proteger as pontas frágeis.

A tecnologia inovadora SplitStop é composta por uma

combinação do sensor UniTemp e placas cerâmicas suaves,

que asseguram a prevenção das pontas espigadas. Este

proporciona uma protecção avançada ao seu cabelo,

mantendo assim o seu cabelo mais saudável e brilhante.

Nós já ligámos o sensor para poder desfrutar da máxima

protecção desde o início.

3 Preparação para utilização

• Lave o cabelo com champô e amaciador e seque-o com

o secador.

• Utilize um produto de protecção térmica e penteie o

cabelo com um pente de dentes largos.

• Utilize o alisador apenas com o cabelo seco.

• Recomendamos que utilizadores frequentes utilizem

produtos de protecção térmica para o alisamento.

• Certique-se de que seleccionou uma temperatura

adequada para o seu cabelo. Consulte a tabela Tipo de

cabelo apresentada abaixo. Seleccione sempre uma

regulação mais baixa quando utilizar o alisador pela

primeira vez.

4 Alisar o cabelo (Fig. 2)

1 Ligue a cha a uma tomada de corrente eléctrica.

2 Desloque o bloqueio ( h ) para baixo para desbloquear

o aparelho.

3 Mantenha o botão ( f ) premido até o visor se

acender.

» A temperatura predenida de 160 °C (

d ) é

apresentada.

4 Prima o botão ou ( e ) para seleccionar a

regulação da temperatura pretendida.

» Quando o aparelho está a aquecer, os dígitos da

temperatura cam intermitentes. A intermitência

dos dígitos pára quando as placas de aquecimento

alcançam a temperatura seleccionada.

» O aparelho aquece em 30 segundos.

5 A função iónica ( b ) é activada quando o aparelho é

ligado e fornece um brilho adicional e reduz o frisado.

» Pode sentir um odor particular e ouvir um ruído tipo

silvo. Isto é normal pois estes são causados pelo

gerador de iões.

6 Penteie o cabelo e, em seguida, separe o cabelo já seco

em madeixas com menos de 5 cm.

Nota: para cabelo mais grosso, recomendamos a separação

de mais madeixas.

7 Coloque uma madeixa de cabelo entre as placas

de aquecimento (

a ) e aperte bem as pegas para fechar

as placas.

8 Deslize o alisador através do comprimento do cabelo

num só movimento (máx. 5 seg.) da raiz até às pontas,

sem parar para evitar aquecimentos excessivos.

9 Para alisar o resto de cabelo, repita os passos 6 a 8 até

conseguir o penteado desejado.

10 Para terminar o seu penteado, pulverize um spray de

brilho ou uma laca de xação suave.

Sugestão: não escove o cabelo após o alisamento.

5 Encaracolar o seu cabelo

(Fig. 3)

Para criar caracóis voltados para dentro/fora:

1 Pegue numa madeixa de cabelo e prenda o resto do

cabelo com ganchos.

2 Comece próximo da raiz do cabelo. Coloque a madeixa

entre as placas de aquecimento (

a ).

3 (Fig.3-A) Rode o alisador para o lado de dentro do rosto

e efectue uma rotação de 360 graus.

(Fig.3-B) Para criar caracóis voltados para fora, rode o

alisador afastando-o do rosto e efectue uma rotação de

360 graus.

Notas:

• Não toque na superfície acima ou abaixo das placas de

aquecimento, pois estas estão quentes. Se necessário,

utilize apenas a ponta fria.

• A parte inicial do seu cabelo deve estar totalmente

enrolada à volta do alisador antes de deslizar cabelo

para baixo.

4 A madeixa está totalmente enrolada à volta de ambos os

lados do alisador. Assegure-se de que a ponta do cabelo

está a sobressair.

5 Puxe o alisador lentamente para baixo ao longo do

cabelo. Assegure-se de que a madeixa não está a

deslizar para fora das placas.

Sugestões:

• Pode utilizar a ponta fria ( c ) para ajudar a efectuar a

rotação de 360 graus.

• Segure o alisador na horizontal (em paralelo ao chão)

para que o cabelo não saia das placas.

• Pode utilizar a ponta fria para manter a madeixa na

devida posição.

• Solte um pouco a pega enquanto roda o alisador para

que este seja fácil de mover.

Após a utilização:

1 Desligue o aparelho e retire a cha da corrente.

2 Coloque-o numa superfície resistente ao calor até que

arrefeça.

3 Limpe o aparelho e as placas de aquecimento com um

pano húmido.

4 Feche as placas de aquecimento ( a ) e deslize o

bloqueio (

h ) para bloquear o aparelho.

5 Guarde-o num local seguro e seco, sem pó. Também

pode pendurá-lo pela argola de suspensão (

g ).

Nota: o aparelho tem uma função de desactivação

automática. Este desliga-se automaticamente após 30

minutos sem ser usado.
