STAND-BY MODE

The machine is designed for energy saving. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the machine goes into stand-by mode, the boiler is no longer

heated and all the devices turn o .

Power consumption is reduced to a minimum. Press any button to turn the machine on again.

The machine status can be manually changed to stand-by mode by holding the stand-by button pressed for 3 seconds.

Note:

1 The stand-by mode cannot be activated if the service door is left open.

2 The stand-by activation time can be changed in the "MACHINE MENU" on

page 28.

3 When the stand-by mode is activated, the machine performs a rinse

cycle of the internal circuits, if necessary. The cycle can be interrupted by

pressing the "STOP" button.

The machine can be turned on again by executing one of the following actions:

1 By pressing any of the control panel buttons.

2 By opening the service door (when closing the door the machine goes back to stand-

by mode).

When the machine is in stand-by mode

the frame of the "

" button blinks.

SCREEN SAVER

The machine comes with a screen saver which is intended to extend the life of the display.

After 5 minutes of inactivity the machine logo will start  oating on the display surface.

In this condition the machine is active and pressing any button will immediately activate all functions. If you wish to brew a cup of co ee

you will just need to press the corresponding button.

Note: The screen saver is not activated if there is an alarm.
