2.1 During Installation

ALWAYS

install and use the drive in a

horizontal

position

PROTECT THE DRIVE FROM:

high temperature, high humidity, extreme

temperature changes

dusty area

excessive vibration

direct sunlight

inclined places

2.2 During Operation

ALWAYS

keep the tray closed to prevent dust and dirt

contamination when not using the drive.

turn off your PC power before pressing a thin bar

to manually eject the disc tray (see

Chapter 4

)

use a voltage regulator or Uninterrupted Power

System (UPS) in areas where the power supply

voltage varies a lot

NEVER

move the drive while it is operating

operate the drive right after a sudden increase

in temperature

force the disc tray to open or close by pulling

or pushing it
