via 'USB Direct' - in the comfort of your living room Supported devices Philips WAC3500 'USB

Direct' allows simple plug-and-play compatibility with MP3 players and USB ﬂash drives that are

compliant with USB Mass Storage Device Class.

What is 'USB Direct'? Philips 'USB Direct' enables you to play MP3, M4A and WMA music

ﬁles from a USB device via the WAC3500, and to transfer music ﬁles

from the WAC3500 to a USB device.

Can I copy ﬁles via USB

Direct from the

WAC3500 to a USB

device and vice versa?

Yes.You can copy music ﬁles from the WAC3500 to a USB device.

You cannot copy music ﬁles from a USB device to the WAC3500.

How do I use the USB

Direct?

1 Plug in your USB device.

2 Press HOME and use the navigation controls 3 or 4 and 2 to

select Portable > USB.

3 Use 4 or 3 and 2 to select the ﬁle you want to play.

Does Philips provide

Gracenote® music

recognition database

updates?

Yes.We provide quarterly updates of the Gracenote® music

recognition database through the website

http://www.club.philips.com.

Download the ﬁle to your PC and update the built-in Gracenote®

music recognition database from the PC using WADM in the

supplied PC suite. Alternatively, you can burn the downloaded ﬁle to

a CD and insert the CD into the CD loader of the Center to

update the database.

What is Philips Wireless

Audio Device Manager

(WADM)?

WADM mainly serves to transfer your music library from your PC

to the Wireless Music Center. In addition, it provides a one-stop

solution to help you manage the music library on the Center, e.g.

edit track information, create / rename playlists, backup / restore

music library of the Center, as well as network settings, Gracenote®

music recognition update, Firmware upgrade.
