
2 Fill the water tank with fresh cold water up to the MAX indication (Fig. 2).
Note: Do not put a lter and ground coffee in the lter holder.
3 Close the lid.
4 Put the jug on the hotplate.
5 Press the on/off switch to switch on the appliance. (Fig. 3)
, The power-on light goes on.
6 Let the appliance operate until the water tank is empty.
7 Switch off the appliance. Let it cool down for at least 3 minutes before you start brewing
coffee.
1 Open the water tank lid.
2 Fill the water tank with fresh cold water up to the required level (Fig. 2).
- The lines on the left side of the water level window correspond to large cups (120ml).
- The lines on the right side of the water level window correspond to small cups (80ml).
3 Close the lid.
4 Open the lter holder (Fig. 4).
5 Take a paper lter (type 1x4 or no. 4) and fold the sealed edges to prevent tearing and
folding (Fig. 5).
Note: Some versions come with a permanent lter. In this case you do not need to use paper lters.
6 Put the lter in the lter holder.
7 Put pre-ground coffee (lter-ne grind) in the lter (Fig. 6).
- For large cups: use one heaped measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
- For small cups: use one level measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
8 Close the lter holder.
9 Place the jug on the hotplate.
Note: If you do not place the jug properly on the hotplate, the drip stop prevents the coffee from owing
into the jug. This may cause the lter to overow.
10 Press the on/off switch to switch on the appliance (Fig. 3).
, The power-on light goes on.
11 Let the water pass through the lter into the jug.
Note: When all the water has passed through the lter, you can remove the jug from the appliance.
12 Put the jug with the remaining coffee back onto the hotplate to keep the coffee hot and to
preserve its avour.
13 Switch off the appliance after use.
Note: If you want to brew another jug of coffee right away, let the appliance cool down for 3 minutes
rst.
14 Remove the lter holder and throw away the paper lter. If you have used the permanent
lter, empty and rinse it.
